Adenike Christianah Ilo, a mother to two beautiful girls, a Registered Nurse, founded Ewaoluwa African Wears in 2023, named after her daughter meaning “Beauty of God”. Driven by the longing to reconnect with her Nigerian roots amidst the UK’s unfamiliar culture, she created a brand to bring the vibrancy of Africa to the Diaspora. Ewaoluwa designs blends traditional Nigerian elements, adire prints, aso oke weaves and bold ankara with modern styles, ensuring comfort and cultural pride. Collaborating with Nigerian artisans, each piece is crafted to deliver home away from home for Africans in the uk. Her mission is to keep the Nigerian heritage alive for her children and the diaspora, letting them wear their identity with joy. Ewaoluwa African Wear is a celebration of culture, connection and beauty.
