Swansea Fashion Week Receives LemFi Nigerian Visionary Award

Swansea Fashion Week is proud to announce that we have been awarded the LemFi Nigerian Visionary Award, a recognition given to initiatives creating meaningful cultural impact within their communities and across the diaspora.

The award celebrates the vision behind Swansea Fashion Week, a platform founded to unite creatives, amplify underrepresented voices, and position Swansea as a growing hub for fashion, culture, and innovation in Wales.

This recognition follows the successful inaugural edition of Swansea Fashion Week, which welcomed over 170 guests, designers, models, creatives, and partners, marking a historic moment for the city.

The award was received by Abayomi Shogbade, Creative Director of Swansea Fashion Week, alongside members of the SFW team, highlighting the collective effort behind the platform.

We are deeply grateful to LemFi for recognising our work and to everyone who has supported Swansea Fashion Week from idea to reality.
